Palmetto Subsea Inspections, LLC is a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) service providing underwater solutions and surveys, supporting commercial diving operations, inspections for municipal water storage tanks, scientific research, and broadcast filming, and Remotely Operated Vehicle training. PSI is in North Charleston, South Carolina, on the Cooper River. We are veteran-owned and have been associated with the commercial diving community as pilot/technicians, divers, and commercial diving educators since 2016.
An ROV pilot/technician handles the operation, maintenance, and repair of an ROV and its systems. ROVs accomplish tasks in underwater environments that are often too deep or hazardous for human divers. Duties vary as ROV uses range from subsea oil and gas development projects, construction, maintenance, and repair to surveys, subsea cable/pipeline laying, salvage, and scientific research.
